Goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez in either half secured a 2-0 victory for Enzo Maresca’s side.
The Blues do have a tougher second group match versus Flamengo, which is likely to be more of a test.
Progression to the last 16 is not expected to be an issue, though, with their last fixture being against ES Tunis.
