Aguero Has Made A Decision On His Next Club But There’s A Major Problem

Barcelona have yet to make direct contact with Sergio Aguero, despite the Argentinian international being keen on a move to the La Liga club, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The Argentinian international will be leaving the Etihad Stadium in the summer when his contract expires but the player has not yet to agree a deal to sign for another club.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be in the running for Aguero’s signature but it appears Barca would be his preferred destination if the Catalan side are prepared to make a move.

The reasons why no formal negotiations have taken place is likely to be down to Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman. The Dutchman is said to prefer Lyon’s Memphis Depay, who is also available on a free transfer.

Aguero’s wage demands may also prove a big stumbling block, and it does seem as though the City legend’s future won’t be resolved any time soon.
