Arsenal have made Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus a very lucrative contract offer, according to France Football journalist Nabil Djellit.
The reporter claims that the Gunners are prepared to give the Brazilian international a “monstrous salary” worth €16m a year, which could increase to €17m if the club qualifies for the Champions League:

The offer on the table works out at around £264,000 a week, increasing to £281,000 a week if Arsenal finish in the top four, which would be a substantial rise on what Jesus is currently earning at the Etihad.
It had been originally reported in the English media that the London club would offer £190,000 a week but it appears that competition from other teams, such as Tottenham and Chelsea, may have forced them to improve their personal terms.
From City’s point of view, it doesn’t appear that there is any hope of Jesus staying so, with just a year remaining on the 25-year-old’s contract, the best they can hope for is that Arsenal or another team matches their asking price for the player.
