Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United will battle Manchester City for Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere, according to reports in Spain.

The 20-year-old scored his first goal for Belgium’s senior side in the 2-1 defeat to Italy in the UEFA Nations League third-place playoff yesterday.

It has been a great start to the season for De Ketelaere at club level as well, having bagged four goals and contributed two assists in just 10 league matches this campaign.

While the Belgian does usually play as a centre-forward, he also can play out wide or in a deeper-lying midfield role. He has already made 88 senior appearances for Club Brugge since making his debut at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.

De Ketelaere has slowly begun to become more prolific in front of goal and Premier League teams are likely waiting to see whether he can have a breakout season in Belgium before deciding whether to make a move for the player.
