Manchester City midfielder David Silva rolled back the years with his performance in the Manchester derby yesterday evening.
The Spaniard hasn’t always been at his imperious best this season, but he put in a vintage display to help the Citizens clinch a crucial 2-0 victory over bitter rivals United.
Fans were asked whether it was Silva’s best game of 2019, but many thought it could be his best all campaign:
Back to his very best. Ole

Silva’s stats make for impressive reading. He completed 70 passes and created four chances at Old Trafford, helping his side to secure the three points.
Despite some supporters believing he hasn’t matched his usual supreme standards this season, his numbers still show he has contributed significantly to City’s title challenge.
The Spanish magician has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 46 appearances, putting him just one goal and two assists behind his figures for last campaign.
At 33, Silva maybe reaching the closing stages of his career, but last night’s display shows there is still life in the old dog yet.
