Ajax are considering selling fullback Nicolas Tagliafico for just £13m this summer, according to reports in the English media.
The Argentinian international is believed to be on Manchester City’s radar and has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Leeds, Chelsea and Inter Milan in recent months.
City are expected to strengthen their options at left-back when the next transfer window opens, and most fans on Twitter think snapping up Tagliafico would be a good decision:

Need him here, City isn’t the same without an Argentine in the squad.

At £13m, it would hardly be a risk signing the 28-year-old. It would also free up the transfer budget so the club can use more funds to finance a bid for a new striker.
Supporters would certainly be more than happy if a deal for Tagliafico enables City to meet Borussia Dortmund’s £130m asking price for Erling Haaland.
Whether that, in fact, happens, it remains be seen but it appears very likely that Tagliafico will be on the move at the end of the season.
