Manchester City midfielder David Silva is fit to face Leicester City today after recovering from a hamstring injury, the club have confirmed.
The Spaniard picked up the problem in the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea and had missed the subsequent games against Hoffenheim, Everton and Crystal Palace.
The news that Silva could play at the King Power Stadium was greeted warmly by City supporters on Twitter:

Manager Pep Guardiola may be reluctant to start the 32-year-old so soon after recovering from a hamstring problem. Those type of injuries can easily recur and easing the playmaker back into action will likely be the best policy.
However, with Kevin De Bruyne now having fully recovered from a knee injury, and Silva back to fitness, City’s attack has certainly been given a huge boost to its firepower. With crucial fixtures coming up against the likes of league leaders Liverpool, that can only be good news.
