Bournemouth V Manchester City Team News And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will have been glad to have seen his side battle for the three points against West Ham midweek.

After a gruelling 120 minutes in the Carabao Cup final win against Chelsea last weekend, it was always going to be a tough task to be playing at 100% versus the Hammers.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side made it hard for them but they still manufactured a number of clear chances despite only sealing a 1-0 win.

Bournemouth were very poor against Arsenal on Wednesday, but Eddie Howe’s side are far better at home than away from the Vitality Stadium.

City’s injury list is quite long at the moment. Fernandinho, Aymeric Laporte (both muscular problems), Fabian Delph (ankle) and Claudio Bravo (Achilles) are definitely out for the Cherries game.

However, John Stones (adductor) and Gabriel Jesus (hamstring) could be back in contention for tomorrow.

Bournemouth have three injury doubts heading into the match. Dominic Solanke missed out on the defeat to the Gunners due to a thigh strain. Defender Steve Cook has a groin problem while Junior Stanislas has a hip injury.

Callum Wilson, Stewart Francis and Lewis Cook (all knee) are out of contention.

The bookies have City as firm favourites with Unibet having them at 1/4 to win. A draw is best priced at 6/1 with Betway while a Bournemouth victory is 12/1 at Sky Bet.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Bournemouth:

Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Gundogan, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Aguero, Sterling

Bournemouth’s Predicted XI:

Boruc, Clyne, Mepham, Ake, Rico, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser, Brooks, King, Solanke

Predicted Score – 3-1 to City
