Brazilian Wonderkid Issues Haaland Demand That Could Hugely Benefit Manchester City

Palmeiras striker Endrick has told interested clubs that he will not play in the same team as Erling Haaland, according to reports in the Spanish media.

Real Madrid are believed to be interested in both players but it appears that, if they want to sign the Brazilian teenage sensation, they will have to abandon any plans to recruit Haaland.

Haaland reportedly has a €200m (£171.5m) release clause in his contract that can be triggered by foreign clubs in the summer of 2024, but it looks as if Real won’t be in the running for the Norwegian if they do secure Endrick’s signature.

The 16-year-old is being pursued by most of Europe’s top clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as City but the Premier League champions will be glad to see him make the switch to Real if it means they can retain the services of Haaland.
