‘Bring Him To City’ ‘Hope Pep Convinced Him To Join Us’ Fans React As Guardiola Is Pictured With 482 Goal Forward

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has caught up with his former player Robert Lewandowski on his return to Spain.

The Polish legend worked with Guardiola at Bayern Munich for two years and he is currently with his national team in Catalonia ahead of their game against Andorra on Friday.

Lewandowski has been linked with a switch to the Premier League, with City, United and Chelsea all mentioned as potential destinations, and fans on Twitter were hoping that Guardiola was tapping him up:

The 33-year-old hasn’t signed a new contract with Bayern and, with his current deal expiring in 2023, a sale could well happen next summer.

With City needing to sign a striker, and with a player available who has scored 482 goals in his senior career, it is unsurprising that some people are putting two and two together.

However, the Citizens are probably targeting younger options, with Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic thought to be on the club’s radar.
