Chelsea have registered an interest in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to reports in the English media.
Manchester City are believed to be lining up a summer bid for the Norwegian as they look to find a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero but Frank Lampard’s side have also made it known to the player’s agent that they are also keen.
With the Blues having only signed Timo Werner in the summer, it was thought that they would not be looking to make a move for another forward so soon, and City fans on Twitter have questioned their rivals’ interest in Haaland:

Considering Haaland’s goalscoring record, it seems his talent will attract suitors from far and wide. Real Madrid and Manchester United are also thought to be interested but the 20-year-old’s price tag may put off certain clubs. Dortmund are expected to demand well in excess of £100m for the player.
