City Agree Personal Terms With Spanish Starlet Ahead Of £260k Transfer

Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Oscar Tarensi from Espanyol, according to multiple reports in Spain.

The youngster, who has just turned 16, is believed to have agreed personal terms with the Citizens with his move to the Etihad all but confirmed.

Tarensi can play as a left winger or as a fullback and is now expected to move to City’s Football Academy.

A €300,000 (£260,000) fee has reportedly been agreed by City for the teenager, with the player likely to be placed in the club’s Under 18 side.

The deal was supposed to take place in the January transfer window but administration issues have delayed the transfer from going ahead.

However, it is now believed that an agreement has been reached for the switch to be finalised

Tarensi will follow the likes of Eric Garcia and Brahim Diaz who made the move to City at a young age to continue their footballing development.
