City Agree To Self Imposed Transfer Ban As Club Close In On Quadruple

Manchester City have announced they have imposed a transfer ban on themselves to make it fairer for their opponents.

Pep Guardiola’s side are closing in on winning four major trophies this season and City’s hierarchy think that it is best for all concerned that the club should ease back on potential signings and allow others to catch up.

The Manchester club feel games are simply becoming too easy for their players and won’t look to strengthen the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The likes of Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele, Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, Wolves’ Ruben Neves and Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez have all been tipped as potential transfer targets.

However, City announced that there will be no players moving to the Etihad as it is simply not fair to be so much better than the opposition They will instead rely on younger players and hope that the rest of the clubs can reach their level at some point for a more competitive league.

This story is, in fact, not true. It’s an April Fool. Have a good day and don’t believe everything you read on the internet!
