City Among A Number Of PL Clubs Pursuing Jude Bellingham’s Brother

Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle have all joined the race to sign Birmingham City midfielder Jobe Bellingham, according to reports in England.

The 16-year-old is Jude Bellingham’s brother, and he has just broken into Birmingham’s first team this season, having made three appearances for Lee Bowyer’s side.

Bellingham has not signed on to professional terms yet and, while he has been offered a scholarship by his current club, he is free to leave for another team this summer if he so wishes.

The teenager does play in a similar position to his older sibling. He has been mostly deployed in a central midfield role, but he is also quite a versatile player, having played as a forward for England’s Under 17s.

City have shown that they are willing to give chances to young players in recent years, with the likes of Phil Foden and Cole Palmer having made their breakthrough, but it remains to be seen whether they can convince Bellingham to join them.
