Manchester United And AC Milan are leading Manchester City and a number of other clubs in the battle to sign Atletico Rafaela midfielder Alex Luna, according to reports in the UK.
The Citizens, along with Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Roma have all been keeping tabs on the 16-year-old but it looks as though the Red Devils could beat them to the punch after making contact about signing the player.
Luna has yet to play a game of senior football but his dribbling ability and skill on the ball have attracted widespread attention, with Atletico Rafaela having already turned down a flurry of requests to take him on loan.
The club plays in the second division in Argentina so they will be open to selling the player for the right price. However, they are expected to request that the teenager stays for one more year, with the earliest date for a transfer being in January 2022.
