City And Chelsea Told They Must Pay 102M To Secure 25 Goal Belgian Frontman

Inter Milan would only sell Romelu Lukaku if they receive a bid of €120m (£102m) this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Nerazzurri are very reluctant to lose the Belgian international, who has scored 25 goals in all competitions this season, but the impact of the global health crisis means they have recorded a financial loss of €140m.

Manchester City and Chelsea were the two teams tipped to take advantage of the situation, with both clubs keen on signing a new number nine.

However, Citizens boss Pep Guardiola has reiterated that his side won’t pay over the odds to sign a replacement for club legend Sergio Aguero, despite his team being heavily linked with both Lukaku and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Out of the two, it appears Lukaku would still be the cheaper option by around €30m (£25.5m) but, whether that will see them prioritise the former Manchester United player instead, we shall see.
