Bayern Munich are now favourites to sign Manchester City target Michael Olise, according to TEAMtalk. The website claim that the Reading winger’s contract expires in the summer but the Royals will reportedly demand up to £10m in compensation, due to his age.

This has led to the Citizens and other English clubs, including Chelsea, pulling back from making an approach, in fear that a transfer tribunal would force them to pay a significant fee for the 19-year-old.

Olise has been in excellent form this season for Reading, having scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 36 league appearances, but the Frenchman is not keen on signing a new deal.

With that being the case, foreign clubs, who are not liable to pay the same level of compensation as English teams, have begun to circle the teenager. Bayern are believed to be leading the race, but TEAMtalk also report that Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, AC Milan, PSG, Lyon and Atletico Madrid are in the mix.
