City And United Target ‘Open’ To Transfer As £20m Price Tag Is Set

Swansea City centre-back Joe Rodon is “open” to leaving the Liberty Stadium when the transfer window reopens, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Wales international is being monitored by both Manchester City and Manchester United, as well as a number of other Premier League teams.

Rodon has been a standout player for the Swans in the Championship this season but the Welsh club are said to be prepared to let the 22-year-old leave for the right price.

The Manchester Evening News claim that they will sell the defender if a bid is made in the region of £20m. Whether such a fee is perceived as being value for money in the current financial climate, we shall have to wait and see.

City are reportedly actively looking to sign another centre half this summer, with the Citizens having seen both Aymeric Laporte and John Stones struggle with injuries this campaign.
