“City As Well” Pundit Claims 17 Goal PL Star Would Get Into EVERY Top Flight Team’s Starting Lineup

TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent say he believes that Tottenham forward Son Heung-min would start for every other team in the Premier League on current form.

The South Korean international scored a hat-trick against Aston Villa at the weekend, bringing his total up to 17 league goals for the season. Bent claims that Son is a guaranteed starter, even for Manchester City:

“I think he does [get into any Premier League side] now,” said the former England international. “The only exception was I always used to think would he get ahead of Sadio Mane? Probably a couple of seasons ago, not last season because Mane had a bit of a down year, but Heung-Min Son steps up all the time.

“He scores goals, creates goals, and can finish with either foot. I think on that left-hand side he would get into any Premier League team. City as well. He carries such a goal-threat. He’s intelligent with his movement he consistently scores goals every season. I think you would put him in there.”

There is no doubt that Son is a supremely talented footballer and deserves all the praise coming his way at the moment, but City are blessed with a number of standout forwards who like to play in the Korean’s preferred position on the left flank.

Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish are all very capable in that role so the question is, would Son start ahead of all of them?

Most City supporters would probably favour him ahead of Sterling and Grealish, but not Foden. The England international has it all and he could be a world star in the not too distant future.
