City Given Important Transfer Boost With Real Madrid Ace Favouring Move To The Etihad

Real Madrid midfielder Isco would prefer to move to Manchester City if he does leave the Bernabeu, according to ABC de Sevilla.

The Spanish publication reports the 26-year-old is keen to work under a manager who would give him the freedom to play, with Pep Guardiola fitting that bill.

Isco has apparently had the opportunity to move to the Premier League in the past, before he signed a new five-year contract back in September 2017.

The midfielder is said to be still keen on a switch to England if he were to leave Real Madrid. He has fallen out with current manager Santiago Solari and he has not started a league match since November.

It is believed that it would take at least €100m (£86.5m) for Real to consider selling Isco despite his lack of game time.

As well as City, the Spaniard is also said to be interested in a transfer to Juventus or Chelsea if a move to the Etihad was not possible.
