Inter Milan could be set to rival Manchester City and Manchester United for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A side are said to be monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation, although they have been put off by the player’s reported asking price.
Lyon are looking to hold out for €80m (£72m) for Ndombele which would likely take the Nerazzurri out of the running for the midfielder.
Such a figure would certainly not deter the
City boss Pep Guardiola told reporters at his pre-match press conference for the Liverpool game today that he is currently happy with the players at his disposal, although he did not explicitly rule out any dealings this month:
“I’ve answered this question so many times. No news. Maybe my opinion will change tomorrow, but I’m happy with the players I have.”
Ndombele has had an excellent season so far for Lyon, having scored two goals and contributed five assists in 25 games.
