Manchester City are scouting Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports in England.
The 20-year-old has only played 20 games of senior football, after making his first-team debut for the Eagles last February in a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham.
However, since then, Wan-Bissaka has firmly established himself as Palace’s first choice right-back, starting all but one of their Premier League games so far this season.
City’s interest in the England Under 21 international may not lead to a bid in the immediate future. Kyle Walker will be the club’s first choice for a few more years at least.
The fullback is still only 28 years of age and he has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2022. His understudy, Danilo, is a year younger than he is.
Still, if the Brazilian does decide to move on in the future, Wan-Bissaka’s name may well be considered if he builds on his bright start to his Premier League career.
