Manchester City are interested in signing Leeds winger Jack Clarke, according to the Sun.

The Citizens, along with Southampton and a number of other Premier League teams, are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old, but his club are determined to keep hold of the player.

Clarke has recently stated that he is happy at Elland Road while manager Marcelo Bielsa is said to be confident of convincing the midfielder to stay.

The Argentine head coach is hoping the promise of Premier League football next season will encourage the teenager to reject advances from the likes of City.

Leeds are currently top of the Championship by four points with 19 games remaining in the season.

Clarke only made his senior debut in a 1-1 draw against Brentford back in October, but he has since made a further 12 appearances, including his first start in the FA Cup defeat to QPR at the beginning of the month.
