City Line Up Deals For Bundesliga Duo Who Could Cost A Combined £123m

Manchester City are interested in Bayer Leverkusen pair Jonathan Tah and Kai Havertz, according to 90min.com. The website claims that City scouts have been regularly monitoring the two players this season.

Tah is also reportedly on Arsenal’s shortlist of centre-back targets for the summer and he has been valued at around £35m in the past. After watching the German, the Citizens are said to be convinced that the defender can make an instant impression in the Premier League.

In regards to Havertz, Pep Guardiola’s side have even reportedly made an enquiry about the midfielder. Leverkusen are said to value the 20-year-old at €100m (£88m), and with interest also coming from the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, a deal could prove tricky for the player.

At a combined cost of around £123m, the two German internationals would be an expensive outlay for City, and it remains to be seen whether 90min.com‘s reporting is accurate.
