City Line Up Replacement For Kyle Walker As They Target £52M Rated World Cup Winner

Manchester City will consider making an offer for Atletico Madrid right-back Nahuel Molina this summer, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 25-year-old, who played in every match as Argentina won the World Cup last year, is being eyed by the Citizens as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker.

With the England international reaching the final twelve months of his contract, there has been speculation that he could leave the Etihad Stadium after six years.

The likes of Aston Villa, Sheffield United and West Ham have been tipped as potential suitors for the 32-year-old, who has struggled for game time in recent weeks.

In terms of Molina, he was actually thought to be a target for Arsenal before he left Udinese for Atletico last year for €23m. His asking price has, though, increased substantially since moving to Spain, with it now being claimed that City may have to pay around €60m (£52m) for his services.
