City Named Among The Three Teams ‘Certain’ To Make Summer Swoop For 130.6M Rated Midfielder

Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are the three clubs that are “certain” to make an offer for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham next summer, according to Bild.

It is believed that Dortmund are already resigned to losing the midfielder but they are expected to demand a record €150m (£130.6m) from any team looking to sign him.

After a positive net spend in the past two transfer windows, City should be able to afford Bellingham within Financial Fairplay rules, even at the extortionate asking price being demanded.

Midfield is an area that needs to be strengthened, with Ilkay Gundogan looking more and more likely to leave the Etihad when his contract expires at the end of the season

It appears Bellingham is top of the list of candidates if Bild‘s report is to be believed. The England international has already been hailed as “exceptional” by manager Pep Guardiola so the Spaniard would definitely back a move for the player.
