City Pair Set To Hold Talks With Club Next Month After Arsenal Make Enquiries

Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez will hold talks about their futures with the club next month, according to reports in the English media.

Both players are said to have been the subject of enquiries from Arsenal, but it is believed that the pair are intent on staying put at the Etihad Stadium.

Sterling has made comments in recent days which suggest he isn’t happy at the Manchester club, while reports have also claimed that City would be prepared to use him in a part-exchange offer for Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Mahrez is in a similar boat. It is thought that the Citizens would be willing to let the Algerian international leave, due to the fact that he has just two years remaining on his contract, but the player is determined to stay.

It is likely that their situations will become clearer when they sit down to hold discussions with the club after they return to pre-season training in July.
