City Plotting Summer Swoop For £320K A Week Bundesliga Ace With Guardiola Said To Be A Big Fan Of Ex Arsenal Player

Manchester City and Juventus are both keeping an eye on Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry, according to reports in the German media.

The former Arsenal player only signed a £320,000 a week contract last summer but he is said to be unhappy with his current playing time under manager Julian Nagelsmann.

City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly a fan of Gnabry’s and if he comes onto the market at the end of the season, the Premier League champions could make their move for the German international.

Despite making 36 appearances this campaign, Gnabry has only started 15 league matches, and his frustrations about his lack of minutes are likely borne out from the fact that he has performed well when given opportunities.

12 goals and 11 assists is certainly not a bad return whatsoever and, at 27 years of age, he is not past his best either. With City lacking out-and-out wingers, bringing in someone like Gnabry would seem like a sensible move.
