City Set To Challenge Liverpool For SECOND Borussia Dortmund Player

Manchester City are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, according to reports in the UK.

The German Under 21 international is out of contract at the end of the season, and he has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, but it appears that the Premier League champions will also attempt to secure the forward’s signature next summer.

City have already targeted Moukoko’s teammate, Jude Bellingham, with a number of other English clubs ( such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool) also pursuing the teenager.

However, unlike Bellingham, who could cost as much as €150m (£129m), Moukoko could be available for a nominal fee due to his contract situation.

City scouts have been keeping an eye on the 17-year-old for a while and, with the player reportedly joining an English-based agency soon, it would suggest that the player is angling for a transfer to the Premier League. We shall see how this transfer story develops.
