City Shoot Up To 13th As The World’s Most Valuable Sports Teams Are Revealed

Manchester City have moved up to 13th in Forbes magazine’s latest list of the most valuable sports teams in the world. Their value has risen by an impressive 108%, with the club now sitting level with NFL side the Los Angeles Rams on £2.82 Billion.

In terms of other football teams, Barcelona were the highest-ranked, coming in 4th with a valuation of £3.36 Billion. Real Madrid were just behind them in fifth, having been valued at £3.35 Billion.

The highest English club on the list is Manchester United, with the Red Devils placed eleventh on £2.96 Billion. Liverpool were 12th, with a valuation of £2.89 Billion, while the only other football team to make the top ten was Bayern Munich, who were ranked tenth.


All of the top three were American Sports franchises. NFL side Dallas Cowboys are first, with Baseball side the New York Yankees in second and NBA Basketball team New York Knicks coming in third.
