Manchester City remain sixth on Deloitte‘s Football Money League table for 2021. The Citizens brought in £481.6m of revenue; an 11% drop on the previous season, mostly due to the global health crisis.

Liverpool are the biggest movers on the list, in terms of Premier League teams, having gone up two places from seventh to fifth with revenues of £489.9m, only an 8% reduction from last year.

Manchester United are still leading the way in terms of English clubs, but they have moved down one place to fourth with a 19% reduction in revenues. The top three is now made up of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

There are four other Premier League sides in the top 20, with Chelsea coming in eighth, Tottenham ninth, Arsenal 11th and Everton in 17th place.

Every team’s finances have been hit hard over the last year, with Deloitte estimating there has been a 12% drop in revenue among the top 20 clubs compared to the previous season. That is likely to drop even further next year if there is a whole season without fans in stadiums.
