City Star Named Among Four Premier League Players In FIFA 21 Team Of The Year

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been voted in FIFA 21’s Team of the Year for 2020, along with three other Premier League players.

Liverpool pair Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold were also named in the eleven, along with Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes.

The rest of the lineup consisted of Bayern Munich stars Manuel Neuer, Alphonse Davies, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski, Juventus’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.

De Bruyne’s inclusion is definitely not a surprise considering he had an excellent 2020, and with 10million fans getting in on the voting, it certainly shows how highly regarded he is.

Unfortunately, the Belgian recently picked up a hamstring injury, which means he could be out for up to six weeks. With City facing the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United in league matches during that period, the midfielder could be sorely missed.
