City Star ‘Offered A Three Year Contract’ By La Liga Club

Manchester City legend David Silva has been “offered a three-year contract” to return to Valencia in the summer, according to ESPN‘s Rob Dawson.

Juventus and Inter Miami are also interested in signing the 34-year-old, but it appears as though a move back to Spain is the likeliest outcome for the player at the moment.

Doubts over the current Premier League season could complicate matters for Silva, though, with the possibility that the campaign will be extended beyond June 30th.

Silva’s contract expires on that date and, while he could choose to sign a short term extension, concerns over potential injury may stop such a deal from being agreed.

Needless to say, both the City board and the fans would like to see him stay until the end of the season so he can make a proper goodbye to the club he has served with such distinction over the past decade.
