Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo has been named in WhoScored.com‘s Team of the Week.

The Citizens may have suffered a setback by dropping two points against Crystal Palace last night, but Cancelo put in an excellent performance once again.

It was an all-action display from the Portuguese international, performing well defensively by winning five tackles, but also playing his part in the final third of the pitch with two key passes and three completed dribbles.

In terms of the rest of WhoScored‘s team, two Arsenal players were included, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and midfielder Thomas Partey being recognised for their performances in the 2-0 win over Leicester on Sunday.

Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock, Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah and Liverpool centre-back Joel Matip made up the back four along with Cancelo.

Partey was joined by Watford’s Cucho Fernandez, Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey and Leeds winger Raphinha in midfield. Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Ivan Toney complete the lineup.
