City Star To ‘Hold Fresh Talks’ About His Future Amid Arsenal And Tottenham Rumours

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling will “hold fresh talks” with the Premier League champions about his future, according to the Sun.

The England international has under two years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but the last round of discussions ended without an agreement being reached on a new deal.

It has led to speculation that Sterling could leave City, with Arsenal and Tottenham having both been linked with the 26-year-old in recent months. There were even reports that he had been offered to Spurs as part of negotiations to sign Harry Kane.

Whether there was any truth to those claims, it isn’t known, but it seems that negotiations over the new contract will restart in the next few weeks.

Sterling currently earns £300,000 a week, and he is now conducting talks himself after splitting with his agent earlier this year. Whether a deal can be struck, we shall have to wait and see.
