Manchester City are one of Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey’s potential destinations this summer, according to reports in England.
The Welsh international only moved to Italy a year ago but the Serie A club are struggling financially due to the global health crisis and need to get rid of the player’s £400,000 a week salary from the wage bill.
A loan could well be a solution that Juve consider, with City or another club paying a percentage of the Welshman’s salary for the season.
Whether the Citizens would get involved in the battle for Ramsey, it is up for debate. David Silva is leaving the Etihad this summer but Phil Foden is in the perfect position to replace the Spanish legend. It is unlikely that manager Pep Guardiola would put another obstacle in the way of the young midfielder’s development.
