City Vying With French Giants For £22.5m Rated Portuguese International Winger

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain could square off in the battle for Borussia Dortmund left-winger Raphael Guerreiro, according to reports in the French media.

City boss Pep Guardiola and PSG manager Thomas Tuchel are both said to be fans of the Portuguese international and may well be interested if Dortmund opt to sell the wide man.

Guerreiro could be available for between €20m (£18m) and €25m (£22.5m) this summer with the 25-year-old entering the last year of his contract in Germany.

Whether City would, in fact, need the Portuguese, it seems questionable. They have an abundance of wingers with Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez all at the club.

Guerreiro can also play as a fullback, but City are well stocked in that position as well. They currently have three first-team left-backs on the books in Benjamin Mendy, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Angelino, who was re-signed from PSV Eindhoven yesterday.
