City ‘Willing’ To Make 41.7M Bid For Bundesliga Ace Who Has Scored 4 More League Goals This Season Than Haaland

Manchester City are preparing an offer to snap up Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrick Schick during the January transfer window, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the Citizens are “willing” to table a bid close to €50m (£41.7m) for the Czech international, whose signature has been “requested” by manager Pep Guardiola.

Schick has been in excellent form so far this season, scoring 17 league goals in only 15 appearances, which is four more than Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

His performances have also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, including West Ham, Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton, but it appears that City are the ones who are the keenest to make a move for the 25-year-old.

Even so, Schick has recently spoken out about his desire to stay at Leverkusen beyond the end of this season. It’s probably wise to take this report from Fichajes.net with a very large pinch of salt.
