Crystal Palace V Manchester City: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola should be able to welcome back John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne for this weekend’s clash against Crystal Palace.

The pair have both been pictured back in training, along with Sergio Aguero who gave an injury scare earlier this week when Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni revealed that the striker was not in full training.

Benjamin Mendy’s fitness remains a concern, though. The Frenchman’s latest injury is a hamstring problem and he is a major doubt to face the Eagles on Saturday evening.

Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane are both expected to make their comebacks from knee injuries at the beginning of next year.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson has fewer injury concerns with the only player currently a doubt for the match being Mamadou Sakho. The French defender has been out since the 1-1 draw against Wolves last month.

The bookies have City as firm favourites with Betfred pricing them at 1/4 for the win. A draw is 11/2 with Betfair while a victory for Palace is 12/1 with BetVictor.
