David Silva Has Decided Where He Will Be Playing His Football Next Season

Manchester City playmaker David Silva has decided against a move away from the club this summer, according to the Times.

The 33-year-old has twelve months left on his contract at the Etihad and the Spaniard does not want to leave before his current deal expires next year.

Reports had suggested that Japanese side Vissel Kobe are interested in signing Silva, while there had also been claims that he could move to Qatar.

A team in the Middle East reportedly offered the Spaniard a two-year contract worth £12m tax-free, which the midfielder was said to be seriously tempted by.

However, it appears Silva will now be staying put. The midfield magician was a regular first team starter last campaign, scoring ten goals and making 14 assists in 50 appearances for the Citizens.

During his nine years at City, the Spanish maestro has won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups.
