Manchester City are prepared to sell Gabriel Jesus for €60m (£51m), according to reports in the Brazilian media.

The 25-year-old is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract at the Etihad, and the Citizens have reluctantly decided to let the striker leave. Arsenal are already said to have entered talks about buying the Brazilian international, but most fans on Twitter would like the player to stay:

Jesus is reportedly keen on leaving so he can get more first-team football ahead of the World Cup later this year. He is looking to do whatever he can to ensure he is in Brazil’s final 23-man squad for the tournament.

While he has been given more starts by manager Pep Guardiola recently, the impending arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez means he could well be back on the bench at the start of next season. With that being the case, it appears he won’t be looking to remain with City beyond the summer.
