‘Dreams of Manchester City’ Report Claims 58.6M Rated Goal Machine Would Snub Arsenal For Etihad Switch

Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic is very interested in making a move to Manchester City, according to La Repubblica.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Serbian international in recent weeks but the Italian publication reports that the player “dreams of Manchester City” and would very much be open to a switch to the Premier League champions.

For their part, City are also keen on Vlahovic, but they are weighing up other options. While a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane appears dead in the water, they are now eyeing a deal for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

With the Polish international running down his contract into its final year, there is a possibility that he will be sold by Bayern this summer to prevent him from leaving for nothing in eighteen months’ time.

In terms of Vlahovic, Fiorentina are still said to be waiting to hear from the player’s entourage about his stance on moving teams this month. The Viola would much prefer to sell now for around €70m (£58.6m) to get the most they can for the striker, but the Serbian could decide to stay until the end of the season.
