Everton V Manchester City: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After a comfortable win against Preston in the Carabao Cup midweek, Manchester City will get back to business in the Premier League when they face Everton on Saturday.

Normally a trip to Goodison Park would be classed as a tricky game but Marco Silva’s side are reeling after a shock 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United last time out in the league. The Citizens will be facing a Toffees team low in confidence.

Manager Pep Guardiola only has three injury concerns, but they are all long term. John Stones (muscular), Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane (both knee) will all be missing this weekend.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Mendy, De Bruyne, Rodri, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Aguero, Sterling

Everton have two injuries heading into the encounter. Andre Gomes is a doubt with a rib injury, while Jean-Philippe Gbamin has been ruled out until late October with a thigh problem.

Everton’s Predicted XI:

Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne, Schneiderlin, Delph, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Calvert-Lewin

At the bookmakers, Sky Bet have City as 1/3 odds-on favourites to win, with a draw 9/2 with Coral. A win for Everton is currently 10/1 at William Hill.
