Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson’s ability with his feet is something which is well known among fans but this latest clip of the Brazilian scoring in an impromptu corner kick challenge has taken things to another level:

Manager Pep Guardiola has already said that he is considering putting the 26-year-old on penalties due to both his skill and composure, but supporters on Twitter think he should be put on free-kicks as well:

It must be said that Ederson hasn’t always been perfect with his passing this season but nobody can doubt his natural talent as a footballer. In another life, he could well have been an outfield player considering his level of ability.
Whether we’ll see the Brazilian international take other set pieces, as well as penalties, it will be interesting to see. Rogerio Ceni (a fellow countryman) scored regularly from free-kicks and penalties during his time at Sao Paulo. He actually ended his career with an astonishing 132 goals. It’s highly unlikely that Ederson would end up with that many, but there’s no doubt he could score quite a few.
