Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has admitted his frustration after what was a disappointing World Cup campaign for both himself and Brazil.
Brazil were sent home from Russia at the quarter-final stages earlier in the week after they were beat 2-1 by Belgium in Kazan.
Tite’s men were heavy favourites for the tournament after an impressive qualifying campaign and with a plethora of world class talent, however ultimately fell far short of expectations.
And it was a poor campaign for Jesus personally too, with the Manchester City star failing to get on the scoresheet at all in any of Brazil’s five games at the tournament.

And in the aftermath of Brazil’s exit, Jesus has admitted his regret at not have being able to help his country more.
He said: “It’s frustrating – I leave here very frustrated. I was not what I expected.
“I don’t know why it went this way – if I did, I’d find a way to solve it. Tactically I’ve always been obedient, and that’s what was doing.
“I’ve not changed anything but unfortunately the ball didn’t fall for me. Maybe I didn’t have clear chances – I don’t know, man, I want to win, to score. I didn’t miss chances, sometimes things happen that you don’t expect.
“In football, one day you are this, one day you are that, it’s normal and I accept it well.
“Now it’s time to reflect. There will always be emotion – if you carry the expectations of 200million people you have to have emotion.”
