Sergio Aguero took his total for the season to 28 in all competitions as he hit four past Leicester in a 5-1 win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Raheem Sterling opened the scoring after only three minutes to give the hosts the lead, before Jamie Vardy equalised after capitalising on a mistake by defender Nicholas Otamendi.
From here on in, it was the Sergio Aguero show.
48 minutes: Aguero latches on to a fine ball across the box from Kevin De Bruyne to slot home his first of the night and give City the lead.
53 minutes: The Argentine latches onto yet another ball from De Bruyne in the box, slamming the ball past Kasper Schmeichel.
77 minutes: A delightful finish. Schmeichel, receiving the ball from a pass-back, misplaced his pass straight into the feet of Aguero, who took one touch before producing a deft lob to leave the Dane red faced and complete his hat-trick.

Sometimes its easy to forget the quality Kun brings to the side. Yet another world class display from the Argentinian. https://t.co/l3SxgrCcSh

90 minutes: Goal of the game. No help needed from De Bruyne or Schmeichel this time. Aguero, picking the ball up on the edge of the box, thunders a strike in off the underside of the bar.
It was a performance to remember, however those haven’t been few and far between for Aguero during his time at City.
Scoring his third saw him secure his eight hat-trick for the club, and by the end of the game, Aguero took is total in a Sky Blue shirt to 197 in all competitions.
Without a doubt one of the Premier League and Europe’s stand-out players, City fans have taken to Twitter to thank the Argentine for yet another world class display …
Aguero – top of the TOP 30 all-time Premier League strike rate table.
22 of the top 30 strikers have won at least one variation of the Player of the Year Award. Yet Aguero is irrefutably the deadliest striker in EPL history and he hasn't ever made the PFA Team of the Year. pic.twitter.com/ShZA9S3cjj

Sergio Aguero is absolutely, undisputedly, the best striker in Premier League history, isn't he? Some fierce competition for that title but boy, he's the most lethal finisher I've seen. Those four goals tonight.. wow #MOTD

As was pointed out to me earlier, Aguero has more goals in 2018 than Chelsea.
