Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson made an excellent stop from Christian Benteke in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Crystal Palace. The Belgian had just come on as a substitute when the forward headed the ball at goal from a corner.
With most expecting the ball to hit the back of the net, Ederson was on his toes as he tipped the attempt onto the bar. Supporters have been praising the superb save:

It's one of the best, hard to find from the goalkeepers plus not all the goalkeepers hv those reflexes so Ederson did an incredible job

If Benteke’s goal had gone in, it could have turned the tide of the game and City have much to thank Ederson for keeping a clean sheet. It is the Brazilian’s fourth of the season already.
The Brazilian is more often than not praised for his footwork, rather than his shot-stopping ability, but his save at the weekend shows he is a top-quality goalkeeper in all departments.
City fans certainly wouldn’t swap him for any other in the world, and if he continues to perform like he did at Selhurst Park, he’ll begin to get more recognition from those outside the club as well.
