Manchester City will not countenance any bids for Raheem Sterling in the January transfer window, according to reports in the UK.

The 26-year-old has less than two years remaining on his contract and there are no indications that the England international is willing to sign an extension.

Although there are some supporters that would like to keep hold of him, most fans on Twitter feel the Citizens should just let Sterling leave if he isn’t going to put pen to paper on a new deal:

Barcelona have been linked with a loan offer for Sterling, with the player having expressed an interest in moving to Spain in the past. Arsenal have also been tipped as a potential option, with former City assistant Mikel Arteta keen on working with the winger once again.

However, as things stand, Sterling won’t be going anywhere, as City try once more to convince him to extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium.
