Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is keeping a close eye on three players that are currently playing in Italy, according to Calciomercato.com.
The website reports that the City boss sees Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi as a perfect addition to the squad, and he is also a big fan of Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz.
All three have a number of clubs interested in signing them. Sensi is also being pursued by Barcelona. Tonali is being eyed by Juventus, as well as Manchester United and Liverpool. Ruiz, meanwhile is said to be on Real Madrid and Barca’s radar.
They are all very different types of midfielder. Tonali is a ‘regista’ who generally play as an anchorman in the centre of the pitch. Sensi is more forward-thinking and would likely be seen as a David Silva replacement while Ruiz can play out wide as well as in central midfield.
