Guardiola wants Joe Hart out of Manchester City, but will let him stay if offers don’t come in

Pep Guardiola says he wants Joe Hart to leave Manchester City this summer, but is prepared to have him stay if no acceptable offers come in.

Hart spent the last two seasons away from The Etihad on-loan with first Torino and then West Ham, however failed to impress either club enough to warrant a permanent move.

Now back at City and in the Guardiola’s squad for the club’s pre-season tour of America, Hart is in the final year of his contract with the Citizens.

Guardiola however would rather Hart found himself a home elsewhere.

“Joe is our player. I know it is not easy for him,” said Guardiola.

“We will try and find a solution,” said Guardiola, who added that he is prepared for Hart to “stay here” if no acceptable offer materialises.

Thus far interest in Hart has come from overseas. No Premier League clubs are reported to be interested in taking on the former England international.
